TEMPLE MOB ROUND-UP

By Eric Celtena
Published: 31/10/2015

While the nationwide thinks that the La Cosa Nostra is in decline, one crew has continued to buck the trend. Mounting pressure on law enforcement has forced them into a corner in recent days. Law enforcement began forcing their way out of the corner with the arrest of Vincent Carna, 43, The notorious crime boss from Temple, Los Santos. Coming from humble beginnings as a small time thug in the GiPella Organization, Vincent Carna cut his way through the ranks with numerous bloody encounters and murders, or so mob experts across the country say.

The notorious Carna Crew has plagued the streets of Los Santos for many years now, and have allegedly taken control of the drug trade in recent weeks. It was no surprise that the arrest of Vincent Carna satisfied the widow of Peter LeCascio, "That piece of sh*t killed my husband. He was never convicted, but I know it was him. What an utterly heartless human being. I hope he gets convicted this time." The Carna Crew's members have long avoided prosecution from the law. Some say its because of their rather infamous, loud and ruthless attitude that they are able to come off so cleanly when events like this occur. Vincent Carna was arrested on racketeering charges under United States RICO predicates by members of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is due to be expedited to the USA to stand trial, however an appeal from Carna's attorney, Lex Wellington hopes to avoid expedition and prosecution all together. When asked for a statement, Mr. Wellington refused.

What does this mean for the Carna Crew? Can we expect them to shut the shop? No, according to mob expert Aldo Hechley, "The Carna guys are a machine. A well oiled machine. They've been doing this kind of thing for years, and every time they avoid prosecution. There'll always be someone there to fill the void." Mob experts around the country cite John Cesari, 38, as Vincent Carna's temporary successor. One thing we know for sure is that the mob is definitely not dead, and the attempt by law enforcement to crush the Temple-based organisation from the top up may not be as successful as prosecutors were hoping it to be.
